I tried writing this once already and DeviantArt deleted it or something. Screw them.
Also, warning, I've had a few drinks...
So! Montana! Beautiful, wonderful, adventureful Montana! Aventureful isn't a word. Ever since I moved out to the Northwest, my brief time in Western Montana has been burned into my memory. I was simply awestruck by its beauty. So naturally as I was mulling over places to go, a mere week before my leave started, Montana sprung to mind.
I'd recently seen some photos in Outdoor Photography of Glacier National Park, and I was reminded of its proximity to Spokane. So I loaded up the camping gear, and after a night in the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, I spent 3 1/2 days in Glacier National Park. And what of it? An amazing time was had. My only regret is that as I hiked the beautiful park, and set up some amazing shots, I knew all along, I'd never be able to convey the true beauty of this place through photos. But I damn well tried. So even though I was snowed out of all the best locations, and I wasn't able to do any camping in the backcountry, I still managed some incredible shots, and had a wonderful time. Although my poor feet will protest otherwise.
So have a gander at the gallery and let me know what you think.

thank you very much!
